25 August 2016

Orphanages of Prykarpattia, where disabled orphans live in general, are funded the worst in Ukraine!
“Ukrainian Charity Network” Philanthropic Foundation made a funding rating of orphanages, which belong to the Ministry of Social Policy system, across Ukraine. Data of 46 orphanages were generally calculated.
According to the rating orphanages of Ivano-Frankivsk region took the following places: Zaluchany – 41, Sniatyn – 45 and Kolomyia – 46 places.
Finance indicators and data about number of orphans are taken from public documents, received from social orphanages and/or organization departments in social policy sphere of regional and Kyiv City State Administrations.
According to Vasyl Futerko, the chief of “Ukrainian Charity Network” Philanthropic Organization, Ivano-Frankivsk region is not the poorest region in Ukraine, but authorities attitude, and Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council (in financial part) attitude to disabled orphans in particular is the worst in Ukraine.
“When we have analyzed data of the rating, we saw total misusing of “children funds”. For example, orphans of orphanages are fed for 80-90% at the expense of funds that are “legally” taken out their social payments, but it should be done from the budget costs” – Vasyl Futerko points out.
